Dead End…….Attempt for Pseudo Solace!

No way to go, utter perplexion……sometimes you enter in such sort of zones. You enter in such conditions where your mind and soul craves for solace and peace. You dont know where to go, what to do, how to behave or even how to react. You turn utter pessimistic in your approach, and all you see, is nothing but a DEAD END…………Dead End can be a state of utter frustration, it may symbolize depression, it may be a “no way out” sort of condition, or it may also be DEATH. As they say, “Call no man happy till he is dead!”……….Death is inevitable…… agreed……bt still it scares us…….wats the reason behind this illogical perception…….hard to answer……..Bt i tell you, sometimes living becomes even tougher or rather horrible! The World hampers your way, in living life your way. And this is the worst thing about this fkin(no censors fr me) world! Then, begans the real hunt for solace, tranquility or rather moksha(as they call it in Hindu Mythology!)…..Attainment of real solace can only be made, if we are able to mingle our soul with “THE NATURE”!………..And believe me,  it doesn’t require detachment from the world. A living sample that somewhat carries resemblence with the above stated is here-…………….

It was a rainy day, the rain was literally pouring. Shahid was having a tea @ a road side tea-stall. He was staring @ the sky, a voice came from inside, “Its Dark Like Ma World!”, and suddeny he broke-up into a smile. He was wearing formels for a change, may be it was the need of the hour. Tea for him was always, a cup of pseudo tranquility. He always loved having tea @ road-side stalls. He saw some kids playing in the rain, and he was lost in the memories of his  ephemeral joys of childhood. He finished his tea, bummed a cig and began walking towards his Bajaj Avenger!…………..He saw a young guy comfortabily sitting on his bike, in a “Cow-Boy”, sort of gesture! The guy was tall, sandy-haired and had immensely expressive eyes. Shahid casually said, “Xcuse Me……Its ma
Bike!”…………The guy gave him a random look and said, “Really!”. Shahid couldn’t resist commenting or rather praising, his dusty Trouser-Jeans! He said casually, “Sexy Jeans Bro!”………The guy turned, smiled and said, “Aryan……Aryan is what people call me……and some call me Idiot, fuck dem!”………….Aryan came closer to him, may be to exercise what they call emphasis, and said, “Thanx a zillion fr liking ma stuff bro…….even i love this piece of shit!”………….Shahid was some-what perplexed and also felt that the other guy had a contagious attitude. Aryan asked him for a walk and then the walk began………The walk of solace…..detachment…….perplexity……in-explicable concepts……………..

Shahid broke the reticense and said, “So what u do??”………..Aryan gave him a rough smile and said,”Is it important to do something in Life…..I live Life my way, thats all I do, Sir!”………….There was another pause, and then Shahid broke the ice, “We are not the only guys walkin on this road…….there are many more…….So many people walkin around with a meaningless life, they seem half asleep busy doing things, they think are important!”………………..They kept walking around half a mile, both staring @ the rest of the world as if they were challenging the world. Aryan said, “I was a sftware engg……….bt left the job!”……..Shahid was a bit like stunned, and caually asked, “why”………….Aryan said,”I was not satisfied with ma work, as simple as that!”…………Shahid was sailing in some-what the same boat, and said, “You know what , i havent slept for the last 2 days!”………….Aryan turned towards him and said, “That means we both are too tired to sleep!”…………Aryan further piled, “Koi Insaan galat nahi hota, bas galat cheezoon k peeche bhaagne lagta hain!”………They continued walking for almost half an hour more. Nobody said even a blessed word and the evening got deathly again. Shahid offered a cup of tea and Aryan said, “Why Not!”.

They both started having their respective cups of tea. Both really enjoyed the tea, as if it was an “ambrosia” of blessing and peace. Then the conversation again began…………..Shahid said, “So what are your future plans………Wat u gonna do nxt!”………..Aryan said, “Gonna reach the Dead End pretty soon……If i turn candid, plsz dont take me as an insane entity or as a lunatic…….I jst packed ma bags and left!”…………Shahid said, “Wer are you going by d way……or is it unplanned, like all great things!”……….Aryan started looking @ the heavens, and said, “Why they used to call me an idiot……and even if I am an Idiot, its nt ma fault……….coz in the first place….God made an Idiot”………..Shahid was lost, as if he was meditating, he soon grasped back his attention………….Aryan continued, “You know what…….i am a complete looser…….Ya thats wat I am……Bt I hunt for sukoon, solace…….i dont know whether i am rgt or wrong, bt one thing is for sure, i feel much relaxed now a days!”……………………They both started staring @ each other………….Shahid casually said, “But money matters na……..u need money in life…….its like part and parcel of life, isnt it broda??”………….Aryan gave him a tough look and said, “Money…..Money rgt……Money is a shit, that makes you smell like shit, thats why they use the term STINKING RICH!”…………Shahid was spell-bound by this statement and couldnt help repeating the same………….”Money is a shit, that makes you smell like shit, thats why they use the term STINKING RICH!”……………..

Shahid asked Aryan, “So, ab kahan jaana hain!”……………..Aryan said, “Leh, chale……….wat say Broda…..aaoge saath……i wager……sukoon ka ehsaas hoga!”…………Shahid was in a dilemma………..wat to do and wat not to………..He closed his eyes for a min…….Then, after a slight pause……..nodded his head for a BIG YES…………….Aryan hugged him tight, and said, “Lets see where the Dead End really is…….lets hunt for solace…..!”………………………They both began the journey……..journey, that was a symbol of fad, craze, solace, adventure…….moksha…………..

“Phirate hain kab se darbadar……ab is nagar ab us nagar………..ek dusare ke hamsafar…..main aur merii aavaaragii!”

  1. well said these lines bro…
“journey, that was a symbol of fad, craze, solace, adventure…….moksha…………”

    “Phirate hain kab se darbadar……
ab is nagar ab us nagar………
ek dusare ke hamsafar…main aur merii aavaaragii!”
u listed “moksha” as per Hindu Mythology ..bt dis thng iz more then peace of mind & heart..it stands for peace for soul…dt iz rarely attained by us…..thus we all try those worst thngs dt cn chang or pretend our life..

  2. About the writing, well written as always, mighty expressive. Simply put with impressive vocabulary. Coming to the concerning topic, ‘Solace’. Solace must never cross the line of responsibility. Also, i’d say life should never be compromised in the name of solace. I hope you get my point.

The material, well, the encounter is pretty interesting. But the walk and the ‘Leh’ part seems impractical. To be honest, i’d like the last paragraph to be somewhat different. C’mon dude! They just met for the first time. The conversation is pretty interesting though.

A few grammatical mistakes. Just go through it once again, and you’ll know what i’m talking about. I’m quite sure you’ve figured them out yourself already. Bad, bad punctuation. You might want to work on it.

Over all, a good read. But i just hope a reader’s opinion and suggestions are taken positively. Keep on the good work. All the best. 🙂

    Regards,
